Originally from the Veneto region, Marco Parisi is now based in Hong Kong, working as a General Manager Apac for Brioni. We are excited to share his journey from a CIMBA MBA student to a General Manager in an international company!

How did you get started on your current career path?

Professionally everything started with CIMBA: within the alumni network, I got in contact with a student who was working in Switzerland for Hugo Boss. After the experience with Hugo Boss, I moved to Milan for Ermenegildo Zegna. Following that, to Shanghai for Sergio Rossi and Bottega Veneta. Finally, I landed in HK for Brioni. I believe that if I am working abroad now, for 6 years already, is also the result of the international teamwork I have done during my MBA.

When you think back to your CIMBA experience, what were some things that changed your way of thinking?

The CIMBA program sets itself precisely as a crossroad between a selected university school program and a business environment on which teamwork makes the difference for the final outcome. For me, CIMBA was an inspiring yet challenging year. The key takeaway for me, besides the amazing people I met, was realizing how much challenges can shape you.

What advice would you give to a current or prospective student?

I would suggest embracing the program both on a professional level as well as a personal developmental one. The level of courses and teachers mixed with a truly Italian landscape and culture makes CIMBA a unique MBA experience that will always be remembered.
