Let’s be honest: it’s hard for CIMBA’s location to get any better. Our campus is in Pieve del Grappa in northern Italy at the base of the Italian Alps—just one hour north of Venice. Enjoy magnificent views of Mount Grappa and the Venetian countryside just by opening those classroom windows!

Step off campus and you are in the center of an authentic, northern Italian town. Get to know the shop owner across the street, enjoy a cappuccino at the campus cafe, volunteer in the community, walk through the vineyards surrounding campus, or take a bus to nearby Bassano del Grappa, a city with a rich history that includes the French Revolution Wars, WWI, and WWII.

Pieve del Grappa is in the heart of Italy’s Veneto Region. Revered for its natural beauty and picturesque old-town centers, the region is home to a powerful business community that boasts more than 450,000 companies. The region, with its major cities of Venice, Padua, Vicenza, Verona and Treviso, is home to prominent Italian-borne corporations that have become major exporters, including Benetton, Diesel, NorthFace, Tecnica, and more. Our location and long-standing networks give our students the opportunity to visit these international businesses through company tours.

Beyond the Veneto Region, students travel throughout Italy and absorb the rich history, culture and economics of Siena, Florence, Rome and more. Italy is home to one of the ten largest economies in the world, making it an ideal place to immerse oneself not only in art, politics, but also in international business.

Campus Facilities

On campus, students have access to the Hawk recreation room, study rooms, conference room, classrooms, and athletic facilities. These facilities include a swimming pool, basketball and volleyball courts, a cardio and weight room, a gymnasium as well as an outdoor basketball court, tennis court, and soccer field. (Additional costs may apply.) Our cafeteria offers daily set meals that are fulfilling, delicious, and warm! Meal tickets can be purchased in the main office. Alternatively, students can bring their own meals to heat up at school.

Accommodations

Our MBA students typically live in studio apartments or houses off-campus. During the first week of arrival, CIMBA will help arrange a group showing with a local real estate agent, who will show you a few possible accommodations to choose from. In the past, many students have opted to find roommates and share small apartments in Crespano del Grappa, a neighboring town only a few minutes' drive from campus. In recent years, we have had an "MBA House" reserved for our students. This MBA House is about a 2-minute walk from campus.

Guest Stays

Friends and families always make it a priority to come and explore the Veneto region when our MBA students are here. There are a number of nearby great hotels and B&Bs near campus that they can reserve. The closest hotel to campus (only a short 2 minute way to campus) is Hotel San Giacomo. A further walk away would be Casa Mela and B&B Altè, student-favorite local agriturismo B&Bs with great breakfast.
